If you’ve landed here, chances are you need to replace a part on your electric scooter. You're in the right place! In this guide, we'll walk you through how to correctly identify the part you need—step by step—so you don’t waste time or money ordering the wrong one.
Find the exact spare parts for your Joyor scooter by identifying your model, series, and certification (DGT, ABE or standard) using the serial number.
1. Identify your Joyor scooter model

Serial number plate located on the chassis of the S-PRO model.
The first and most important step is to know exactly which joyor model of scooter you have. The easiest and most reliable way to do this is by finding the serial number, which is usually located on the chassis, underneath the scooter.
This number follows a format similar to:
J_____ _____ _____
What matters here is the second section—this indicates your scooter model.
📌 This part may have more than multiple characters, such as F5S+, S10-S-Z, or Y6S. For the Litego is LG and for the Luxerider is LR
📌 Pro tip: Write it down or take a photo of the serial number before looking for spare parts.
2. Understand the difference between model and series
Once you know your model, it's important to understand that our scooters are grouped into series, which include several models that share similar characteristics. This makes it easier to find compatible replacement parts.
For example:
-
The F Series includes models like the Joyor F1/F3/F5+/F5S+
-
The S Series includes the Joyor S5/S5-Z/S10-S/S10-S-Z/S-PRO
-
The Y Series includes the Joyor Y5S/Y6S/Y8S/Y10, and so on...
This is important because many parts are compatible across all models within a series, as they share components like the chassis, handlebar, suspension, mudguards, etc.
3. Check the certification type of your scooter
In addition to the model, it’s important to know which certification your joyor scooter has, as this may affect part compatibility and legal usage.
There are three types of certifications:
Standard Models:
-
Serial numbers start with "J" or "JES"
-
These are standard scooters without road approval
DGT-Certified Models (Spain):
-
Serial numbers always start with "JES"
-
Certified models include: S-PRO, Litego, C10 and Y10.
-
The Joyor Y10 must start with "JES2312" to be DGT certified
ABE-Certified Models (Germany):
-
These have a metal plate on the chassis mentioning "ABE"
-
This is the German road-legal certification
📌 Always check whether your scooter is standard, DGT-certified or ABE-certified before ordering parts, especially if they relate to legal requirements or performance components.
4. Search for the right part by model or by category

On our website, you can find the right part in two main ways:
🔍 By model:
If you know the exact model of your scooter, you can go directly to that serie category (e.g., F1/F3/F5+/F5S+) and see only the parts that are compatible with it.
🔍 By part type:
You can also browse by spare part categories, such as:
-
Electric Components: batteries, motors, chargers, controllers...
-
Chassis & Framework: handlebars, folding systems, accessories...
-
Wheels & Brakes: tires, inner tubes, mudguards, suspensions...
Every product on our website clearly states which model or series it’s compatible with, so you won’t have to guess.
